PMA schedules second leg of 2026 entrance exams in Western Mindanao
FORT GENERAL GREGORIO H. DEL PILAR, Baguio City — The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) said it will hold the second leg of the PMA Entrance Examination (PMAEE) 2026 on July 25 and 26 across nine testing venues in Western Mindanao and General Santos City as it continues its nationwide recruitment of aspiring cadets.
According to a PMA announcement, examination sites have been designated in Iligan City, Kabacan, Cotabato City, Tacurong City, Zamboanga City, Dipolog City, Pagadian City, Basilan, and General Santos City.
The academy said applicants who completed their applications online or by mail must bring their examination permit, one recent 2-by-2 identification photograph, two No. 2 pencils, and a valid identification card.
Walk-in applicants are required to submit a duly accomplished application form, a photocopy of their PSA-issued birth certificate, school records showing their latest grade point average, two recent identification photographs, two No. 2 pencils, and a valid identification card, the PMA said.
The academy instructed all examinees to wear a white T-shirt, pants and rubber shoes.
Processing will begin at 7 a.m., while the examination is scheduled to start at noon.
Applicants were also advised to bring their own food, drinking water and umbrellas in case of inclement weather.
The July 25-26 examinations follow the completion of the first leg for Eastern Mindanao earlier this month.
The PMA said succeeding examination schedules are set for the Visayas on Aug. 8-9, the National Capital Region and Regions IV-A, IV-B and V on Aug. 22-23, and Central and Northern Luzon on Sept. 5-6.
The academy said a total of 48 testing centers nationwide will be used for this year’s entrance examination.
It added that the remaining venue details for other regions will be announced through its official website and Facebook page.
The PMA described the entrance examination as the initial phase of its Cadet Procurement Program, aimed at selecting qualified applicants seeking admission to the country’s premier military academy.
