PMA sets Sept. 5-6 entrance exam in Luzon cluster

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) will hold the final leg of its Entrance Examination 2026 for applicants from the Central and Northern Luzon cluster on Sept. 5 and 6, the academy said in a press release.

The examinations will be administered at 13 testing venues across Luzon, including sites in Laoag, Tuguegarao, Bontoc, Bayombong, Baguio, Lingayen, Cabanatuan, Tarlac, San Fernando in Pampanga, Tabuk, Cauayan, Baler and Olongapo.

The PMA said online and mail applicants must bring their exam permit, one 2-by-2-inch identification photo with a white background taken within the past six months, two No. 2 pencils and a valid identification card.

Walk-in applicants must bring a duly accomplished application form, a photocopy of their Philippine Statistics Authority birth certificate, and a photocopy of Form 137 for senior high school graduates or Form 138 for Grade 12 students currently enrolled, showing their latest grade-point average.

They must also bring two 2-by-2-inch identification photos with a white background taken within the past six months, two No. 2 pencils and a valid identification card.

The PMA said applicants should wear a white T-shirt, pants and rubber shoes.

Processing of applicants is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m., while the examination is set to start at noon. Examinees have also been advised to bring their own food and drinks and an umbrella in case of bad weather.

The testing venues listed by the academy are:

  • Laoag City: Northwestern University, Airport Road, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte
  • Tuguegarao City: Leonardo N. Mamba Memorial Gymnasium, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan
  • Bontoc: Mountain Province State University, Poblacion, Bontoc, Mountain Province
  • Bayombong: Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School, Mabini, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya
  • Baguio City: Philippine Military Academy
  • Lingayen: Saint Columban’s College, Avenida Rizal, Poblacion, Lingayen, Pangasinan
  • Cabanatuan City: Lazaro Francisco Integrated School, Barangay Vijandre, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija
  • Tarlac City: St. Michael Covered Court, Camp General Servillano A. Aquino, Barangay San Miguel, Tarlac City, Tarlac
  • Pampanga: Pampanga High School, Barangay Lourdes, City of San Fernando, Pampanga
  • Tabuk City: Tabuk City Gymnasium, Tabuk City, Kalinga
  • Cauayan City: Isabela State University-Cauayan Campus, Cauayan City, Isabela
  • Baler: Centro Baler Sport Complex, Baler Public Market Compound, Baler, Aurora
  • Olongapo City: 3rd Floor, Olongapo City Civic Center, Rival Avenue, Olongapo City, Zambales

The academy urged applicants to check its official website and social media channels for further announcements and updates.

Applicants should verify any subsequent changes directly with the academy before proceeding to their assigned testing venue.
