COMCO Mundo opens Camp COMCO Cycle 24 applications
MANILA — Communications firm COMCO Mundo has opened applications for the 24th cycle of its Camp COMCO Mentorship Program, inviting students and fresh graduates in communications-related fields to apply for its apprenticeship initiative.
The company said the program forms part of its year-long “Decada de COMCO” celebration marking the group’s 10th anniversary.
According to COMCO Mundo, selected applicants will undergo mentorship, industry immersion and hands-on training across its communications, marketing and related business units.
Participants may also be assigned to various agencies and organizations within the COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises.
Eligible applicants include students and recent graduates of Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Multimedia Arts and related disciplines, the company said.
COMCO Mundo described Camp COMCO as an industry linkage and apprenticeship program designed to provide practical experience in public relations, brand storytelling and integrated communications.
The company said the program concludes with its “House Wars” pitch competition, where participants develop and present communications campaigns for actual brands and projects.
COMCO Mundo said Camp COMCO has produced 157 graduates since its launch.
It added that some alumni have joined the organization in leadership and partner roles, while others have pursued careers across the communications industry.
The company also cited recognitions received by the mentorship program, including awards from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), IABC Philippines and the Public Relations Society of the Philippines’ Anvil Awards.
“Camp COMCO was built on the belief that the future of communications begins with investing in young talent. Through mentorship, hands-on learning, and even character building, we hope to empower the next generation of storytellers to create meaningful and lasting impact in our industry,” Ferdinand Bondoy, COMCO Mundo Interregional President and Group Chief Executive, said in a statement.
Beyond the apprenticeship program, COMCO Mundo said its Camp COMCO Alumni Society supports volunteer initiatives through Citizen COMCO, including activities benefiting children’s organizations, disaster response efforts and environmental advocacy campaigns.
Applications are open through email submission of a curriculum vitae to headquarters@comcomundo.com.
