COMCO Mundo wins Asia Agency of the Year

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine communications group COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises was named Agency of the Year in Asia at the SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific 2026, adding to a series of regional and international recognitions as the group marks its 10th anniversary.

COMCO Mundo also said it was the only Philippine-owned and led communications group included in PRovoke Media’s 75 Best Agencies in Asia-Pacific, citing the recognition as evidence of its growth and expanding regional presence.

The awards were announced as COMCO continues its yearlong 10th anniversary celebration, which the group has branded as #DECADAdeCOMCO.

In campaign categories at the SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific 2026, The Communications Olympiad: Rewriting Climate Change with the Next Gen Communications Practitioners received a Certificate of Excellence, according to COMCO.

The initiative was led by the COMCO School of Communications, the group’s training and continuing education arm, in partnership with the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines.

The program focuses on developing communications practitioners’ capacity to address climate change and other global issues through strategic communications.

COMCO’s social-impact work was also recognized in the Corporate Social Responsibility category.

Its Building a Better Nation for Every Child: The “Generation HOPE” initiative received a Finalist Citation, the company said.

The program focuses on social and educational needs in the Philippines and forms part of COMCO’s broader advocacy work.

“Being hailed as Agency of the Year in Asia and recognized as one of the Best 75 Agencies in the Asia-Pacific are incredible recognitions for our teams from Southeast Asia to the Middle East, as well as for our country, as we are the only Philippine owned and led agency network honored in the list,” said Ferdinand L. Bondoy, Interregional President & Group Chief Executive and Head of Global & Strategic Communications / Partner & Co-Founder of COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises.

“As we celebrate our 10th year, or our #DECADAdeCOMCO, these metals inspire us to keep pushing boundaries, championing meaningful storytelling, and showcasing Filipino, Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern communications excellence to the rest of the world,” Bondoy added.

COMCO said the latest recognitions follow awards received earlier in 2026 from the International Association of Business Communicators Global Gold Quill Awards, the Public Relations and Communications Association Asia-Pacific Awards, and the Marketing-Interactive PR Awards Asia-Pacific.

The SABRE Awards, organized by PRovoke Media, recognize work in branding and reputation across regional competitions.

The Asia-Pacific program covers communications campaigns evaluated for strategic, creative and impact-related achievements.
