COMCO Mundo wins 12 Philippine Quill Awards
MANILA, Philippines — Communications group COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises said it won 12 awards at the 22nd Philippine Quill Awards, adding six Awards of Excellence and six Awards of Merit to a series of international and regional recognitions for the agency this year.
The awards, presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, recognize business communication programs judged against IABC standards.
COMCO Mundo said this year’s competition drew more than 800 entries under the theme “SOAR: Shaping Outcomes, Advancing Reputations.”
The agency said the latest awards come during its 10th anniversary year, which it is marking through its “Decada de COMCO” campaign centered on what it calls “Meaningful Storytelling.”
The flagship COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises unit received Awards of Excellence for Toshiba’s “Details Matter Campaign” in Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communication and Special and Experiential Events.
It also received an Award of Merit for Century Tuna’s “Protein-Fit Campaign” under Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communication.
In Corporate Social Responsibility, COMCO Mundo received Awards of Excellence for “The Generation HOPE Campaign” and Century Pacific Food Inc.’s sardines group’s “Padagos, Bulan Campaign”.
COMCO Southeast Asia – Pilipinas, described by the group as its premier “New PR and Smart Social” agency, secured Awards of Merit for Midea Philippines’ “Midea Club: Reinventing Installer and Technician Engagement” in Internal Communication and “Together Future Ready: 2025 AC Specialist Convention” in Customer Relations.
The Midea convention also received an Award of Merit in Special and Experiential Events.
TARO AOX Inc., a COMCO Mundo company focused on technology and digital public relations and corporate and public affairs, won an Award of Excellence for Samsung Electronics Philippines’ “Ultra Unfolds: The Launch of the Galaxy Z Fold7 | Flip7 | Flip7 FE” in Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communication.
It also received an Award of Merit for Samsung’s “Solve for Tomorrow 2025: Empowering Next-Gen Heroes” in Corporate Social Responsibility.
SEA Wave & Spice with Purple ALAB, the group’s digital, studio, events and media production arm, received an Award of Excellence in Publications for “Catch the Latest Waves with SEA Wave: Southeast Asia’s Pop Culture Magazine.”
The unit also received an Award of Merit in Social Media for “Baybayin Hariyanas: Redefining Our Name and Reclaiming Our History,” a project developed with Citizen COMCO, the group’s advocacy arm.
“Being awarded on a global stage is an incredible feat, but there’s something extra special about being recognized right here at home. More than the awards, we’re celebrating the work behind them: truly authentic campaigns we created with our clients and brand partners that made real and meaningful impact,” said Ferdinand L. Bondoy, interregional president and group chief executive and head of global and strategic communications, partner and co-founder of COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises.
“Watching our homegrown next-in-line leaders take the helm and drive this milestone is entirely their moment; seeing them champion Meaningful Storytelling and bring our vision to life proves that the foundation we’ve built over the past decade is stronger than ever, inspiring us to do even more great work and make a difference along the way,” Bondoy said.
The company also cited recognition at the 2026 SABRE APAC Awards in Singapore, where it said PRovoke Media named COMCO Mundo Agency of the Year in Asia and included it among the Best 75 Agencies in Asia-Pacific.
COMCO Mundo described itself as the only Philippine-founded and led communications group included in that list.
The Philippine Quill awards add to the group’s stated 10th-anniversary milestone and underscore the agency’s focus on communications campaigns spanning public relations, digital media, corporate communications, events and social advocacy.
