MANILA, Philippines — Mang Inasal is marking Father’s Day with a campaign that highlights how Filipino fathers express love through everyday acts of care, family bonding and shared meals, positioning its signature grilled offerings as part of those meaningful moments.

The restaurant chain said many Filipino fathers communicate affection not through words but through consistent actions, including providing for their families, spending time with their children and creating opportunities for togetherness despite busy schedules.

The campaign, anchored on the brand’s “Ihaw-Sarap and Unli-Saya” message, emphasizes quality time at the dining table, where conversations and shared experiences often strengthen family relationships.

Father and content creator Paul Santiago said some of the most memorable family moments happen during simple meals, when parents and children have the chance to talk about their day and reconnect.

“Sometimes, the best moments happen over simple meals where everyone gets to talk about their day,” Santiago said.

The company said dining occasions, whether routine lunches or weekend gatherings, can become opportunities for families to build lasting memories.

Another father featured in the campaign, Jonathan Uy, said Filipino dads often demonstrate affection through practical acts such as ensuring their families are cared for and making time for them despite demanding schedules.

Meanwhile, content creator Marc Mascardo said shared experiences often leave a lasting impact on children, noting that ordinary meals can become meaningful family traditions when accompanied by conversation and togetherness.

Mang Inasal said the Father’s Day initiative aims to recognize fathers whose love is reflected in everyday presence, quiet sacrifices and consistent support for their families.
