MANILA, Philippines — Fast-food chain Mang Inasal has made its Spicy Pork BBQ a permanent menu offering across its more than 600 stores nationwide, responding to sustained consumer demand for spicier versions of its grilled specialties.

The move, effective May 1, follows the product’s initial launch as a limited-time offering and expands the company’s lineup of spicy menu items, which already includes the Spicy Chicken Inasal Paa and Spicy Chicken Inasal Pecho.

The Spicy Pork BBQ is available for dine-in, takeout, drive-thru and delivery transactions, reflecting the chain’s effort to make the product accessible across all customer channels.

“The Mang Inasal Spicy Pork BBQ was initially intended as a limited time offer. But we acknowledge that a specific segment of our customers often ask for the spicy versions of our Ihaw-Sarap bestsellers,” Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro said in a statement.

Castro said some customers seek a stronger spicy flavor profile beyond the chain’s traditional siling labuyo-infused toyomansi and chicken oil dipping sauces.

The company said the product is offered as a two-stick rice meal and is also available in Family Size packs containing 10 sticks and Party Size packs containing 20 sticks.

Mang Inasal, known for its grilled chicken and unlimited rice offerings, continues to expand its menu portfolio as consumer demand for spicy food variants remains strong in the Philippine quick-service restaurant sector.
