BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — SM City Baguio has opened its Christmas centerpiece, Santa’s Berry Cabin, introducing a festive holiday attraction built around the themes of warmth, togetherness and shared memories.
Unveiled on Friday, Oct. 23, the installation carries the theme “Santa’s Berry Cabin — A Berry Magical Christmas,” inviting mallgoers to experience the season through festive decorations, traditional holiday elements and opportunities to create memories with family and friends.
The launch featured the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas centerpiece, marking the start of the mall’s holiday celebration and bringing the seasonal display into view for visitors.
SM Baguio said its Christmas celebration was intended to highlight the small moments that make the season meaningful, including shared joy, lasting memories and the relationships that bring people closer.
The mall also framed the celebration as a tribute to Baguio and the wider Cordillera region, expressing its commitment to making Christmas more meaningful and memorable for the communities it serves.
“Together, we make Christmas BERRY magical, ALL FOR YOU,” SM Baguio said in its promotional statement.
Through Santa’s Berry Cabin, the mall aims to offer visitors a setting for holiday gatherings and seasonal experiences, with the centerpiece serving as a focal point for the Christmas atmosphere at SM City Baguio.
The celebration reflects a familiar part of the holiday season in the Philippines, when decorated public spaces and shared family activities become opportunities for people to gather, reconnect and mark the end of the year.
For SM City Baguio, the message behind this year’s installation is straightforward: Christmas is not only about festive displays, but also about the warmth, togetherness and memories people create around them.
The mall’s holiday theme, “A Celebration of Warmth, Togetherness, and an Iconic Christmas Moment,” underscores that message, positioning Santa’s Berry Cabin as a seasonal destination for visitors looking to share in the Christmas spirit.
