
MANILA, Philippines — As SM Supermalls marks its 40th year, the retail giant unveils its biggest nationwide shopping celebration yet—a 40-day festival featuring over 3,500 exclusive brand deals across 88 malls from August 1 to September 9, 2025.
Beyond the promos, the milestone spotlights SM’s transformation over four decades—from a retail hub to a dynamic platform for community growth, innovation, and inclusivity.

Under the theme “A New Era of Supermalls,” SM reinforces its role as a catalyst for economic development.
Initiatives like SM for MSMEs and nationwide job fairs have supported over 17,000 local businesses and generated thousands of jobs in partnership with DOLE and LGUs.
The brand also continues to champion environmental sustainability.
Rooftop solar panels, rainwater treatment systems, and eco-campaigns like Trash to Cash and Plastic Waste Collection reflect SM’s push for a waste-free future.
Inclusivity is another key pillar—SM hosts nationwide events for women, the LGBTQIA+ community, and persons with disabilities.
Its flagship 2025 events drew record-breaking attendance, affirming its commitment to accessible, inclusive spaces.
On the tech front, the SM Malls Online app, active lifestyle hubs, and pet- and bike-friendly features showcase how SM adapts to changing lifestyles while making malling easier and more enjoyable.
