MANILA, Philippines — Philippine fast-food chain Mang Inasal has launched its Sulit Bowls, a rice-based meal offering priced from ₱89, in Metro Manila and Luzon, targeting consumers seeking affordable and filling food options.
The new menu line features two variants: Soy Garlic Chicken, made with grilled chicken, garlic bits, spring onions, sliced egg and soy garlic sauce over rice; and Pork Sisig, which combines pork sisig and creamy sauce served with rice, the company said.
“We know that Filipinos are constantly looking for meals that are delicious, filling, convenient, and affordable. Mang Inasal Sulit Bowls are our way of giving them exactly that,” according to Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro.
The bowls are available for dine-in, takeout, drive-thru and delivery in Metro Manila and Luzon, the company said.
Mang Inasal said it plans to expand availability to the Visayas and Mindanao within October, although it did not specify an exact rollout date.
The launch comes as food businesses seek to offer products that balance affordability, convenience and portion size.
Mang Inasal described the new meals as part of its effort to respond to changing consumer preferences.
