
CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, Benguet — A total of 159 newly appointed Patrolmen and Patrolwomen officially joined the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) after taking their oath of office on December 15, 2025, during a ceremony held at the Masigasig Grandstand.
The oath-taking was administered by PBGEN Ericson D. Dilag, Regional Director of PRO CAR, who also served as the guest of honor and speaker.
The new police officers are composed of 139 recruits under the Attrition Quota and 20 under the Regular Quota.
During the program, PCOL Francisco B. Bulwayan Jr., Chief of the Regional Personnel Records and Management Division, formally read the appointment orders of the successful applicants.
This was followed by the ceremonial awarding of ATM cards to the newly appointed police officers.
In his message, PBGEN Dilag emphasized the importance of adhering to the Philippine National Police core values of Makadiyos, Makabayan, Makatao, and Makakalikasan, reminding the recruits that integrity, discipline, and dedication must guide their service to the public.
He officially welcomed them as the newest members of the PNP.
Also present during the ceremony were PCOL Julio S. Lizardo, Acting Deputy Regional Director for Administration; PCOL Ledon D. Monte, Acting Deputy Regional Director for Operations; PCOL Froiland B. Lopez, Chief of the Regional Staff; Mr. Nathaniel A. Cayaba, Acting Assistant Regional Director of NAPOLCOM-CAR; members of the Recruitment Screening Committee; a representative from the Land Bank of the Philippines–La Trinidad Branch; and the families and friends of the new police officers.
Out of 1,208 applicants, only 159 passed the stringent recruitment and selection process.
Following the ceremony, the new Patrolmen and Patrolwomen will undergo a six-month Public Safety Basic Recruit Course, followed by a six-month Field Training Program, as part of their preparation to become full-fledged police officers.
