Watsons Philippines extends free health services in September

BAGUIO CITY — Watsons Philippines is continuing its free health-service initiative this September, offering selected health screenings and physician consultations at participating stores as part of its effort to make routine health checks more accessible to Filipino consumers.

Watsons Philippines said the services include cardiometabolic screening and free physician consultations, as well as free iron blood tests.

Cardiometabolic screening and physician consultations are scheduled at SM Center Dagupan on Sept. 19 and City Walk Tarlac on Sept. 26.

Free iron blood tests are scheduled at SM Rosales on Sept. 18-20 and 27; San Francisco Pobl. on Sept. 21-23; Puregold Laoag on Sept. 24-26; SM Laoag on Sept. 28-30; SM Baguio LG on Sept. 24-30; SM Baguio UG on Sept. 10-15; SM Urdaneta on Sept. 16; Pacific Bldg on Sept. 21-23; and Cedar Peak on Sept. 22-23.

Watsons said the services are intended to give customers easier access to basic health checks and information that may help them monitor existing concerns or identify potential health risks.

“Taking care of your health is an ongoing commitment, and it doesn’t always have to involve a separate trip to a clinic or hospital. By continuing to offer free health services in our stores, we hope to make regular health checks easier to fit into everyday routines and encourage more Filipinos to stay informed, take action early, and make their health a continuous priority,” Watsons Philippines managing director Danilo S. Chiong said.

The company said its health initiatives are intended to complement its retail offerings by providing access to services, expert guidance and health education.

The availability of the services is subject to the participating-store schedules.
