NYMA signs creator-educator Bea Chu
MANILA — NYMA Talent Management has signed fast-rising creator, creative director and educator Bea Chu, marking a strategic move to expand its roster of creator-led voices shaping the digital economy.
Chu, who has built a following of more than 670,000 across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, is known for producing educational content focused on storytelling, production techniques and creator growth.
Her videos, which simplify complex concepts in cinematography, audio and content strategy, have generated millions of views.
She first gained widespread attention through a viral TikTok video demonstrating how to turn a headset into a do-it-yourself lapel microphone, reflecting her emphasis on accessibility in content creation.
With a background in video-making dating back to 2013 and experience in theatre sound design and audio engineering, Chu combines technical expertise with creative storytelling.
“Bea represents the new wave of creators who are not just influencing audiences, but actively shaping the industry,” said Christian Bautista, president of NYMA Talent Management, in a statement. “Her ability to educate, inspire, and build a community around creativity aligns with where the creator economy is heading.”
Chu’s content focuses on helping emerging creators improve both the quality and intent of their work, positioning her as a leading voice in creator education. Her approach bridges the gap between creative passion and professional execution, particularly for audiences navigating an increasingly competitive digital landscape.
Kat Bautista, NYMA’s chief operating officer, said the company prioritizes partnerships with creators who bring both purpose and perspective.
“Bea brings both,” she said. “She’s building something meaningful—not just for her audience, but for the broader creator ecosystem.”
Under the partnership, NYMA will support Chu in scaling her platform, securing strategic brand collaborations and expanding her presence in global markets.
The deal also aims to further establish her as a key figure in creator education in the Philippines and beyond.
The signing comes as demand grows for creator-led knowledge and authentic storytelling, with agencies increasingly investing in talent that blends influence with expertise.
