Mang Inasal wins three honors at 61st Anvil Awards
MANILA, Philippines, Jan. 29 — Mang Inasal, the Philippines’ self-styled grill expert, has secured three Silver Anvil Awards at the 61st Anvil Awards, earning recognition for its digital-led marketing campaigns and strategic collaborations, the company said.
The restaurant chain was honored for Best Use of Social Media for its 4 Cheese Halo-Halo campaign.
It also received awards for Best Use of Partnerships and Best Use of Influencer Marketing for its MI UNIVerse campaign, initiatives aimed at strengthening brand engagement among younger audiences.
The awards underscore the brand’s efforts to combine digital innovation with culturally relevant storytelling while maintaining its core positioning around grilled food and customer-centric experiences.
“Mang Inasal has always believed in the power of authentic storytelling and community engagement. These Anvil Awards affirm our marketing approach—innovative, relevant, and deeply connected to our customers’ experiences,” Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro said in a statement. “We will continue to explore creative ways to bring our brand closer to Filipinos nationwide.”
According to the company, the award-winning campaigns demonstrated its ability to adapt to evolving digital platforms while reinforcing its brand promise of delivering Ihaw-Sarap and Unli-Saya experiences.
The Anvil Awards, organized annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), are widely regarded as the country’s most prestigious recognition program for public relations excellence.
Often referred to as the “Oscars of PR” in the Philippines, the awards recognize outstanding public relations programs, tools, and practitioners.
Mang Inasal’s recognition this year highlights the growing role of social media engagement, influencer partnerships, and cross-brand collaborations in shaping consumer connections in the Philippine quick-service restaurant sector.
