Abra receives vital assistance as President "Bongbong" Marcos pays visit
BANGUED, Abra — Over the weekend, PROCOR regional director David K. Peredo, Jr. visited the Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO) to personally check on the situation of his personnel on the ground and supervise their deployment.
On Saturday, July 29, 2023, PBGen Peredo Jr., together with Abra provincial director Froiland B. Lopez, warmly received President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., who visited the province to extend much-needed assistance to those affected by the devastating impact of Super Typhoon “Egay”.
Before the distribution of assistance, President Marcos Jr. joined the Regional Director, local government officials of Abra, and representatives from various government agencies in attending a comprehensive situation briefing presented by Abra vice governor Jocelyn Bernos.
This briefing served as the basis for determining the province’s priority needs according to the President’s assessment.
