BDO launches anniversary raffle as bank marks 50 years

MANILA — BDO Unibank Inc. said it is launching a nationwide customer raffle as part of its 50th anniversary celebration, offering hybrid vehicles and shopping gift passes to qualified depositors from August through December.

The promotion, announced in a company statement, forms part of the bank’s golden anniversary activities and is intended as a thanksgiving campaign for customers who have banked with the institution over the past five decades.

According to BDO, more than 250 customers will receive prizes during the promo period, including Toyota Ativ Hybrid cars and SM Gift Passes worth P5,000.

The bank said new customers may qualify by opening eligible deposit accounts, completing a one-time online registration and maintaining the required account balance.

Existing depositors may also earn raffle entries by increasing their deposits and registering online, it said.

BDO said the promotion will run from August to December 2026, with five raffle draws scheduled during the period.

The final draw, set for Jan. 14, 2027, will serve as the grand draw for eligible entries accumulated from August through December.

Under the mechanics released by the bank, August qualifiers will compete for 50 SM Gift Passes worth P5,000 each, with winners to be drawn on Sept. 14.

Customers qualifying in September will have another chance to win 50 gift passes in a draw on Oct. 14.

The October and November draws will each award one Toyota Ativ Hybrid car and 50 SM Gift Passes, with draws scheduled for Nov. 14 and Dec. 14, respectively.

The grand draw will award three Toyota Ativ Hybrid cars and another 50 SM Gift Passes, according to the bank.

In the statement, BDO said the campaign reflects its appreciation for customers as it marks its 50th year in the Philippine banking industry.

The bank also said it continues to expand digital banking services and adapt its products to the changing financial goals of Filipino customers, citing growing demand for more accessible and convenient banking services.
