BAGUIO CITY – The Napino cops of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) carried out a commendable initiative on January 13, 2024, demonstrating the values of compassion and generosity.
In alignment with the “Panag-aywan ti Kailyan” program led by PRO Cordillera regional director David K. Peredo, Jr., the officers distributed free vegetables to residents and passersby at District 14 in Baguio City.
This act of kindness was made possible through a recent donation of fresh vegetables from the Benguet Agri Pinoy Trading Center (BAPTC), received by the Marcos Highway Police Station 10 of BCPO.
The Napino cops took charge of ensuring the safe transportation and equitable distribution of these vegetables within the community, with a special focus on those in need.
The “Panag-aywan ti Kailyan” program, translating to “Helping Our Neighbors,” underscores the importance of community involvement and mutual support.
Through this vegetable distribution, the Napino cops exemplified the core values of compassion and generosity, nurturing a sense of unity and care within the community.
