CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad Benguet – A farmer listed as a high-value drug personality was arrested during an anti-drug operation led by the Kabalyero cops of Benguet Police Provincial Office on April 29, 2024.
Based on the reports submitted to PRO Cordillera Regional Director PBGEN David K. Peredo, Jr., the 33-year-old male drug personality was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by joint operatives of the Benguet PPO Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Provincial Intelligence Unit, and Kibungan Municipal Police Station in Brgy. Madaymen, Kibungan, Benguet.
According to the same operatives, the suspect sold one heat sealed plastic transparent sachet weighing 1.08 grams to an operative who acted as a posuer buyer, while another plastic sachet weighing 5.08 grams was confiscated from his possession.
The arrested suspect and the confiscated illegal drugs weighing more or less 6.16 grams with a total Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php41,888.00 were brought to PDEU for proper documentation and disposition, while charges for violation of R.A. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, is being filed against the suspect.
