CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – In observance of Ash Wednesday, a Holy Mass was celebrated on February 14, 2024, at St. Paul Church in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.
The mass was presided over by the Regional Pastoral Officer, Rev. Father Alexander V. Pardo, and attended by personnel of the Police Regional Office (PRO) Cordillera stationed at the Regional Headquarters, under the leadership of Regional Director PBGEN David K. Peredo, Jr.
Ash Wednesday signifies the commencement of the penitential 40-day Lenten season for the Roman Catholic Church, serving as a period of spiritual introspection and a means of connecting with God through communal prayer and fasting.
