PMA sets fourth 2026 entrance exam leg for 11 venues

BAGUIO CITY — The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) will hold the fourth leg of its 2026 entrance examination on Aug. 22 and 23 at 11 testing venues across Metro Manila and parts of southern Luzon and Bicol, the academy said.

The examination will cover applicants assigned to the National Capital Region, Region 4A-B and Region 5 cluster.

Testing sites are in Pasay, Quezon City and Taguig in Metro Manila; Laguna, Lipa City, Lucena City and Cavite City in Region 4A-B; Puerto Princesa City and San Jose, Occidental Mindoro; and Camarines Sur and Legazpi City in the Bicol area.

The designated venues are the Philippine Air Force Multi-Purpose Gymnasium at Villamor Air Base in Pasay; Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School in Quezon City; Taguig City University Auditorium in Taguig; Laguna University Gymnasium in Sta. Cruz, Laguna; Philippine Air Force Non-Commissioned Officer School at Fernando Air Base in Lipa; SOLCOM Covered Court at Camp BGen Guillermo Nakar in Lucena; Magluyan Hall at Naval Base Heracleo Alano in Cavite City; Lawak Gymnasium at WESCOM in Puerto Princesa; Occidental Mindoro State University in San Jose; the auditorium of Central Bicol University of Agriculture in Pili, Camarines Sur; and the Fleet-Marine Quarter Deck at Naval Station Julhasan Arasain in Legazpi City.

PMA said online and mail applicants must bring their exam permit, one 2-inch by 2-inch identification photograph taken within the previous six months against a white background, two No. 2 pencils and a valid identification card.

Walk-in applicants must additionally present a duly accomplished application form, a photocopy of their Philippine Statistics Authority birth certificate and a photocopy of Form 137 for senior high school graduates or Form 138 for Grade 12 students, showing their latest grade point average, the academy said.

The academy advised all examinees to wear a white T-shirt, pants and rubber shoes.

Processing of applicants will begin at 7 a.m., while the examination is scheduled to start at noon, according to PMA.

Examinees are required to use No. 2 pencils during the test and are advised to bring their own food and drinks.

PMA also recommended bringing an umbrella in case of bad weather.

The academy urged applicants to monitor its official announcements through its website and social media channels for possible updates.

Applicants should verify their individual examination details, venue assignments and any subsequent changes directly with PMA before traveling to a testing site.
