BAGUIO CITY — The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) said it will conduct the third leg of its 2026 entrance examination for applicants in the Visayas on Aug. 8 and 9 at eight testing centers across the region.

In a statement, the PMA said examination sites will be located in Iloilo City, Bacolod City, Dumaguete City, Cebu City, Catbalogan City, Tacloban City, Tagbilaran City and Kabankalan City.

The academy said the examination is part of its nationwide admission process for prospective cadets seeking entry into the country’s premier military training institution.

Applicants who completed their applications online or through mail are required to bring their examination permit, one recent 2-by-2-inch identification photograph with a white background, two No. 2 pencils and a valid identification card, according to the PMA.

Walk-in applicants must present a duly accomplished application form, photocopies of their Philippine Statistics Authority birth certificate and either Form 137 for senior high school graduates or Form 138 for current Grade 12 students showing their latest general weighted average.

They must also bring two recent 2-by-2-inch identification photographs with a white background, two No. 2 pencils and a valid identification card, the academy said.

The PMA advised examinees to wear a white T-shirt, pants and rubber shoes during the examination.

According to the academy, applicant processing will begin at 7:00 a.m., while the examination will start at 12:00 noon.

The PMA also reminded examinees to use only No. 2 pencils during the examination and to bring their own food, drinks and umbrellas in case of inclement weather.
