BAGUIO CITY — Original Pilipino Music (OPM) icon Ely Buendia will headline “Jam Session in Baguio,” a live music event scheduled for Aug. 1 at the University of Baguio, organizers announced as ticket sales officially opened.

Produced by iMe Philippines, the concert will bring together established OPM performers and emerging artists for what organizers described as an intimate gathering aimed at strengthening connections between musicians and fans.

Joining Buendia on the lineup is singer-songwriter Earl Agustin, whose breakthrough hit “Tibok” topped the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart and helped propel his retro-inspired sound into the mainstream.

Also set to perform are musical duo El Manu and Jessy Kang, known for blending ballads, hip-hop and contemporary Filipino music.

The pair have gained recognition in the local music scene through songs including “Tahanan.”

Rounding out the lineup are iMe Philippines artists AJ Colico and Dylan Burton, both regarded by organizers as part of a new generation of Filipino performers seeking to expand their presence in the country’s music industry.

The event is expected to offer audiences a more relaxed concert atmosphere amid Baguio City’s cool mountain climate, with organizers positioning the show as a celebration of OPM and live music culture.

Tickets are available through SM Tickets outlets nationwide and online channels, while SVIP packages are being offered exclusively through Fantopia.

Organizers encouraged fans to secure tickets early, citing expectations of increased demand following the announcement of the full artist lineup.

The concert adds to Baguio City’s growing roster of live entertainment events and underscores the continuing appeal of OPM acts that draw audiences across generations.
