BAGUIO CITY — A 21-year-old woman tagged as one of the region’s most wanted individuals was arrested on June 8, 2025, at her residence in Brookspoint, Aurora Hill, Baguio City.

The apprehension was made by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 6, Baguio City, for charges under Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination) and Murder. Both offenses are non-bailable.

The suspect is listed as the No. 2 Most Wanted Person at the regional level, No. 1 in the city, and No. 2 at the station level, under COPLAN “SLAYER.”

Her arrest was the result of inter-agency collaboration involving the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), the Regional Intelligence Division, and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15.

In a statement, PCOL Ruel D. Tagel, City Director of BCPO, praised the success of intelligence sharing and coordinated operations.

“By collaborating and sharing information, the PNP and other agencies can work together to disrupt criminal activities against the youth. This collaborative approach also leads to greater efficiency and resource optimization, ultimately contributing to a safer and more secure community especially for vulnerable populations,” he said.

Authorities reiterated their commitment to protecting children and maintaining peace and order through continued inter-agency cooperation.
