MANILA — NYMA Talent Management has signed Korean producer-songwriter Ziv to its growing roster, marking a strategic move to strengthen its footprint in the global music market.

Ziv, a Korean artist raised in the Philippines, brings nearly a decade of experience in music production and songwriting.

Known for blending Asian pop sensibilities with contemporary global sounds, he has built a reputation for genre-fluid work shaped by cross-cultural influences.

He previously served as a producer on The Traveller Across Dimensions, an album by Ben&Ben that won Album of the Year at the 38th Awit Awards, one of the country’s top music honors.

In April 2025, Ziv produced “Saranggola,” a standalone single by Ben&Ben that earned Wish Folk Song of the Year and gained strong audience traction.

He also worked on “Sa’yo Lamang,” the latest single by Christian Bautista, underscoring his ability to craft emotionally resonant original Pilipino music (OPM).

Beyond the Philippines, Ziv has expanded his reach through collaborations with international artists, including Japanese guitarist Ichika Nito.

His regional work includes projects with P-pop group KAIA and singer Jolianne.

NYMA said the partnership will focus on Ziv’s artistic development, strategic collaborations and global positioning.

“At NYMA, we look for artists who reflect where culture is headed,” said Kat Bautista, the company’s chief operating officer. “Ziv brings a rare combination of cross-cultural perspective and songwriter instinct.”

Christian Bautista, who also serves as NYMA president, said working with Ziv highlighted the producer’s “deep respect for the song” and connection to OPM.

Now based again in the Philippines, Ziv is expected to continue bridging Asian and global markets while contributing to the evolution of contemporary pop.

The signing reinforces NYMA’s push to elevate Filipino and Asian talent on the international stage.
