MANILA — UnionBank of the Philippines is partnering with Toast Wedding Fair 2026 to provide digital payment solutions for wedding suppliers as the country’s bridal events industry prepares for two major expos later this year.

The bank said its participation aims to make booking and payment transactions more convenient for couples and exhibitors attending the Toast Wedding Fair, which is scheduled on Aug. 8-9 and Oct. 24-25 at SMX Manila.

Toast Wedding Fair, founded in 2018, brings together more than 100 wedding suppliers, including photographers, caterers, stylists, event coordinators and designers, allowing engaged couples to compare services and secure bookings in one venue, according to the organizer.

“Wedding planning should be exciting, inspiring, and enjoyable,” Toast Founder and Chief Executive Officer Bryan Co said in a statement.

He said the fair is designed to help couples discover trusted suppliers and make informed decisions while making the experience easier for exhibitors through its partnership with UnionBank.

UnionBank said its digital payment capabilities will enable exhibitors to accept transactions more efficiently during the event, allowing businesses to focus on serving prospective clients.

“Planning a wedding comes with countless moments and decisions, and every little convenience can make a difference,” Dino Velasco, UnionBank’s Institutional Segment Marketing Head, said in the statement.

The bank also highlighted its business-focused digital platforms, including UnionBank BizStarter and the UB Negosyante app, which it said are designed to help entrepreneurs establish and manage their businesses.

The Philippine wedding industry supports thousands of small businesses and creative entrepreneurs whose services range from event planning and photography to catering and venue styling.

UnionBank said partnerships such as Toast Wedding Fair form part of its broader efforts to support these enterprises through digital financial services.

Toast Wedding Fair 2026 will be held at SMX Manila on Aug. 8-9 and Oct. 24-25.
