UnionBank of the Philippines is partnering once again with Retail Lab for Soirée 2025, one of Metro Manila’s biggest holiday shopping events, to highlight UB Negosyante—its flagship platform designed to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The Holiday Soirée will take place on December 13–14 at The Fifth at Rockwell in Makati City, gathering hundreds of local entrepreneurs and brands.

UnionBank will power the event’s financial services, including QRPH-enabled payments for faster entrance transactions.

The first 300 UnionBank debit and credit cardholders, as well as UB Online users, will receive complimentary admission.

UnionBank Head of Institutional Segment Marketing Dino Velasco said the partnership reflects the Bank’s continued commitment to helping Filipino SMEs grow.

“Through UB Negosyante, we aim to be the NextGen bank for SMEs—developing tools and services that empower them to thrive, while making it easier for consumers to discover and support local businesses,” Velasco said.

During the event, UnionBank will feature its suite of SME products, including:

  • UnionBank BizStarter Account – An entry-level checking account with a low initial deposit of just Php 5,000, designed to make banking more accessible for startups and small businesses.
  • UB Negosyante App – A comprehensive financial platform that allows entrepreneurs to manage funds, disburse payments, and generate QRPH codes for seamless collections.
  • Business Line – A revolving credit facility offering up to Php 10 million, giving SMEs the financial flexibility to expand operations, manage cash flow, or invest in growth.

UnionBank said the initiative underscores its commitment to helping entrepreneurs overcome financial barriers, streamline operations, and tap new market opportunities.

The Bank noted that Soirée 2025 provides a platform for business growth and consumer engagement through NextGen digital banking solutions.
