UnionBank expands cash deposit access via ECPay kiosks

MANILA – UnionBank of the Philippines has partnered with ECPay to allow customers to deposit cash into peso savings and checking accounts at more than 2,100 kiosks nationwide, expanding access beyond its branch network.

The service enables real-time posting of deposits up to ₱10,000 per transaction, credited instantly for bills payment, transfers, and purchases.

Kiosks are located in convenience stores, malls, groceries, and community centers, including Alfamart, Puregold, Lawson, O! Save, and Puremart.

“This initiative expands access to cash deposit services and provides greater convenience—so banking services are easier to reach as part of customers’ everyday routines,” said Albert Raymond C. Cuadrante, UnionBank’s Chief Marketing & Experience Officer.

ECPay President & CEO Patricia D. Pascual said the partnership reinforces ECPay’s commitment to bringing financial services closer to Filipinos, helping customers manage money “any day, anytime.”

The move complements UnionBank’s nationwide branch and ATM network, targeting small business owners, freelancers, and individuals who handle cash regularly, while reflecting the bank’s push to integrate banking into daily life.
