Three BCPO units conferred with PGS institutionalized status

CAMP BADO DANGWA — The “institutionalized” status was finally conferred to Naguilian Road Police Station 1 (PS1), Pacdal Police Station 3 (PS3), and Baguio City Mobile Force Company (CMFC) of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) after months of hard work and thorough preparation of documents for impact audit and revalidation during the Institutionalization Evaluation Process (IEP), the fourth and final stage of the Performance Governance System (PGS) pathway.

PRO Cordillera regional director, David K. Peredo, Jr. administered the conferment of the Institutionalized Status of the said units in a ceremony held at the PRO Cordillera Log Cabin, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, on August 14, 2023.

Naguilian Road Police Station 1 (PS1) garnered a rating of 96.94%,  Pacdal Police Station 3 (PS3) with 96.13%, and Baguio City Mobile Force Company (CMFC) with 97.1% in its IEP, leading the two police stations and the City Mobile Force Company to be the recipients of the most coveted Gold Eagle Award.

“I wish to convey my most profound congratulations to Naguilian Road Police Station, to Pacdal Police Station, and the City Mobile Force Company and their whole team, for making yet another historical milestone under the name of BCPO and the whole of the Police Regional Office Cordillera in this transformation journey of the Philippine National Police. I know for a fact that application to undergo this process does not simply take courage, but more importantly a genuine commitment towards transformation and in-depth internalization of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030.” PBGEN Peredo, Jr. said.

Moreover, the Regional Director, bestowed Certificates of Recognition and Plaques of Appreciation upon deserving personnel within PROCOR.

The recipients included the Station Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (SAGPTD) and the Company Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (CAGPTD).

These commendations were a testament to their exceptional contributions and remarkable achievements, which played a pivotal role in successfully achieving the PGS Institutionalized Status.

This remarkable accomplishment was crowned with the prestigious Gold Eagle award, the highest honor presented by the PNP.

This award signifies the culmination of rigorous efforts as offices and units navigate through the various stages of the Performance Governance System (PGS) outlined in the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030.

“Being institutionalized means having established systems and procedures to do your duties and responsibilities effectively”, the Regional Director reminded the above units.
