BAGUIO CITY – The Social Security System (SSS) Baguio branch opened its 2 nd E-Center in Barangay Pinsao Proper after signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the barangay officials headed by Chairperson Raymund C. Laxamana last February 28, 2024.
Under the MoA, Barangay Pinsao Proper shall provide the IT logistics and office space within the barangay premises to set-up the E-Center which will be manned by an SSS trained barangay personnel.
“Through this partnership, access to our online platforms is now within reach of the residents.
This is also aligned with our goal to cover more members especially those belonging in the last mile communities,” Baguio Branch Head Nancy Umoso said.
Pinsao Proper is one of the most populous villages in Baguio City with 8,300 residents based in the 2020 census who are mostly farmers, government, and private company employees, OFW returnees, and small-scale business owners.
SSS online services offered are issuance of Social Security (SS) Number; My.SSS account registration;
disbursement account enrollment; Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP) compliance; online submission of Maternity, Sickness, Unemployment, Disability, Retirement, Death, and Funeral application, including loan applications like Salary, Calamity and Pension Loan; and generation of Payment Reference Number (PRN) for Contribution and Loan payments.
