CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet — On December 6, 2024, the SM Foundation formally opened the newly renovated Camp Bado Dangwa Hospital, marking its fifth health facility renovation in the region.

This initiative aims to strengthen healthcare services for law enforcement personnel and the local community.

The opening ceremony was led by Ms. Connie Angeles, Executive Director of Health and Medical Programs at SM Foundation Inc.

She was joined by Marc Janssen Pe, SAVP of Mall Operations together with Police Regional Office-Cordillera Chief Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., Police Col. Julio Lizardo, Chief Regional Staff, and Police Col. Alma Paredes, Chief of the Regional Medical Dental Unit-Cordillera Administrative Region.

The renovated hospital boasts of improved facilities, including a dedicated breastfeeding area, a lounge for elderly and pregnant patients, an emergency room, a children’s play area, a pharmacy, a dental clinic, and a nurse’s station with 24-hour service.

It continues to provide essential services such as family planning, medical consultations, child care and nutrition, mental health services, and dental care.

To promote a healthier environment, the SM Foundation utilized air-cleaning paints in its initiatives.

It also launched the SM DigiKonsulta program, enabling online consultations and electronic medical records management in alignment with PhilHealth’s Konsulta Benefits.

This renovation reflects the SM Foundation’s commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility and sustainability for communities and law enforcement personnel.
