BAGUIO CITY – On Sunday, October 20, 2024, SM City Baguio kicked off the holiday season with the grand unveiling of its highly anticipated Christmas centerpiece, themed “Christmas Wishlist.”
The centerpiece features a towering 35-ft Christmas tree and an impressive 18-ft Santa Claus surrounded by giant festive gift boxes.
The dazzling display immediately captivated shoppers and families, setting a joyful tone for the holiday season.
Adding to the excitement of the event were breathtaking performances from local talent groups, including Tahanan ng Sining at Armonya, University of Baguio, UP Baguio, Music and Symphony from the School of Engineering and Architecture, and the graceful Ballet Baguio dancers.
Their performances brought an enchanting energy that elevated the festive spirit in the air.
The “Christmas Wishlist” theme embodied the essence of the holiday season, with the stunning display and performances creating unforgettable moments for everyone.
It also symbolized a wish for happiness, togetherness, and hope, which resonated with the audience, leaving them inspired and filled with the warmth of the season.
City Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong and his wife, Arlene, graced the event with their presence, adding an extra layer of significance to the evening’s celebration.
As the lights illuminated the giant Christmas tree, the festive atmosphere became magical, marking the beginning of a joyful season at SM City Baguio for all to enjoy.
