BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — SM City Baguio is expanding its role beyond retail, positioning itself as a key employment hub through job fairs, in-mall hiring, and career development programs.

The mall regularly hosts job fairs that connect job seekers with opportunities in retail, food and beverage, customer service, and other industries.

These events are designed to make the job search more accessible and interactive, allowing applicants to engage directly with potential employers.

Annual job fairs are held every May 1 and June 12, providing consistent opportunities for employment and career exploration within the local community.

Beyond periodic hiring events, SM City Baguio offers year-round employment across its tenants and operations, including roles in retail stores, restaurants, service counters, and administrative offices.

Positions range from entry-level to managerial, supporting career growth within a dynamic workplace environment.

The mall also partners with government and local agencies to strengthen workforce development. These include collaborations with Department of Labor and Employment – Cordillera Administrative Region and the Baguio City government through the Public Employment Service Office.

Through these partnerships, job seekers gain access to workshops, mentorship programs, and employment assistance aimed at improving skills and readiness for the workforce.

SM Supermalls said these initiatives are part of a broader effort to support professional growth while contributing to community development.

With employment resources centralized in one location, the mall continues to evolve into a space where commerce and career opportunities intersect—transforming routine visits into potential pathways for long-term employment.
