SM City Baguio joins quake relief drive

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — SM City Baguio has joined the nationwide Operation Tulong Express (OPTE) initiative of SM Supermalls to support families affected by the recent earthquake in General Santos City.

A donation booth has been set up at the Lower Ground Level of the mall, where customers and visitors may contribute cash assistance.

Proceeds will be turned over to the Philippine Red Cross to aid relief operations for impacted communities.

SM Supermalls said the initiative reflects a collective effort among communities, partners, and volunteers to provide timely support to disaster-hit families.

Those wishing to send help directly may also course donations through the Philippine Red Cross.

The OPTE program is part of SM’s continuing outreach efforts during emergencies, mobilizing resources and public support for affected areas.
