BAGUIO CITY — SM City Baguio is buzzing with excitement as its much-anticipated Food Festival takes center stage, offering a feast for both food lovers and culinary enthusiasts.

One of the event’s standout attractions is the Bestival Chef, where expert pastry chefs Sandex Cambi, Richard Garcia, and Ryan Reyes, from The French Baker, joined forces with culinary students from top local institutions to assemble and decorate 500 Giant Strawberry Danish pastries.

This sweet showcase highlighted the artistry of pastry-making, captivating attendees who were treated to the delightful sight of each step in the process—from folding to proofing and decorating.

Food enthusiasts were not only treated to a visual spectacle but were also able to sample the mouthwatering results of this impressive feat.

The Bestival Chef is just one highlight of the broader Food Festival, which is running throughout September at SM City Baguio.

Adding to the flavor-packed event is the FavorEATS Market, an ongoing bazaar that brings together local MSMEs to showcase their diverse food products, featuring a curated selection of regional and international dishes.

Visitors can explore this vibrant market, which runs until the end of the month, and discover unique, homegrown dishes.

Beyond these events, SM City Baguio’s restaurants and cafes are offering regional delicacies to celebrate local tastes and culinary traditions.

The food festival stands out as a comprehensive celebration of food, community, and culture, bringing together people from all walks of life to enjoy the diverse flavors and talents on display.

Additionally, SM Supermalls nationwide are transforming into vibrant food destinations as part of the Foodie Bestival.

The celebration includes events like EATS & TREATS, offering exclusive dining deals, and the Foodie Bestival Village with festive decorations.

Enhancing the experience is BEATS & BITES, a playlist curated to accompany the food adventure, and BIG BITES, oversized food displays perfect for photo ops.

From September 1 to 30, SM Supermalls is offering a full month of culinary delight, serving up the best regional flavors, festive decorations, and exciting activities that foodies won’t want to miss.
