Saint Louis University renews partnership with SM City Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – Saint Louis University (SLU) reaffirmed its collaboration with SM City Baguio, marking a significant step towards fostering growth and advancement for both institutions on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

This renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signals a continued commitment to joint efforts in nurturing opportunities for students and fostering a robust learning environment.

The renewed partnership emphasizes an enhanced avenue for students to engage in apprentice programs and educational sessions offered by SM City Baguio.

These initiatives aim to equip students with comprehensive skills, knowledge, and a resilient attitude, aligning them with the demands of future careers and preparing them for the professional landscape.

Moreover, the partnership seeks to facilitate potential job placements for students, creating a seamless transition from academia to the workforce.

The event, which solidified this collaborative endeavor, saw the presence of esteemed representatives from both SLU and SM City Baguio.

Notable attendees from SLU included Andrew Macalma, University Registrar; Dr. Mary Grace Carrido, Director of the Office of Global Relations and Alumni Affairs; and Dr. Joselito Gutierrez, Executive Assistant to the President.

From SM City Baguio, the gathering was graced by Marc Janssen Pe, Senior Assistant Vice President for North Operations, alongside Irene Peralta, Regional Head of HR, and Rona Vida Correa, Regional Operations Manager-North 1.
