
CAMP BADO DANGWA, LA TRINIDAD, Benguet — The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) arrested 428 drug personalities and seized more than ₱786 million worth of illegal drugs in anti-illegal drugs operations conducted throughout 2025, police records showed.
Data from the Regional Operations Division revealed that PRO CAR carried out 1,013 anti-illegal drugs operations from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
These included buy-bust operations, marijuana eradication efforts, police response operations, search warrant implementation, and the service of arrest warrants.
The operations resulted in the confiscation of 2,395,479 fully grown marijuana plants, 1,190,034.86 grams of dried marijuana, 104,684 marijuana seedlings, 235.72 milliliters of marijuana oil, 3.99 grams of marijuana kush, and 23,411.07 grams of shabu, with a total Standard Drug Price of ₱786,381,068.42.
Among police units, the Baguio City Police Office recorded the highest number of arrests at 152, followed by Kalinga Police Provincial Office with 88, Benguet PPO with 83, Abra PPO with 51, Apayao PPO with 26, and both Mountain Province PPO and Ifugao PPO with 14 arrests each.
Of those apprehended, 162 were classified as High Value Individuals, while 266 were identified as Street Level Individuals, according to the report.
PRO CAR also highlighted gains in community-based efforts, noting that 34 Persons Who Used Drugs (PWUDs) voluntarily surrendered and enrolled in the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP), while seven PWUDs successfully completed the program.
PRO CAR reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining aggressive but lawful anti-illegal drugs operations, alongside strengthened community engagement, to ensure public safety and maintain peace and order in the Cordillera region.
