BAGUIO CITY — The Cordillera Administrative Region Training Center (CARTC) formally welcomed 159 new patrolmen and patrolwomen of the Philippine National Police during Reception Rites held Monday, January 5, at the CARTC Formation Grounds inside Teachers Camp.
The ceremony marked the recruits’ official entry into police training and was led by PCOL Ledon D. Monte, Acting Deputy Regional Director for Operations of Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR), who served as guest of honor and speaker.
He was joined by PCOL Roland L Sacyat, Chief of CARTC, and PLTCOL Arnold O. Ventura, Assistant Chief of CARTC, along with CARTC officers, staff, and personnel.
The recruits belong to Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) Classes 2025-01, composed of Alpha to Echo companies, and 2025-02, composed of Alpha to Charlie companies.
They will undergo a six-month intensive training program designed to develop their professional competence, discipline, and ethical foundation for police service.
In his message, PCOL Monte emphasized the importance of discipline, integrity, and dedication as core values of the police profession, urging the recruits to uphold these principles as they begin their training.
