MAKATI CITY, Philippines — PNB Holdings Corporation (PHC) has placed its Investor Relations (IR) function under the leadership of its Chief Financial Officer, Ponciano S. Carreon Jr., as the company strengthens coordination between finance and capital markets amid its growth initiatives.

In a statement, PHC said the consolidation of IR under the finance group is intended to support its plans to unlock value from its current portfolio and enhance engagement with both majority and minority shareholders.

Carreon brings nearly 30 years of combined experience in real estate, banking, and finance.

Prior to joining PHC, he served as chief financial officer, corporate treasurer, and investor relations head of Century Properties Group, Inc., where he handled financial strategy and capital markets engagement.

He also has extensive banking experience, having previously served as an independent director and audit committee chair at Northpoint Development Bank.

Earlier in his career, Carreon held key positions as a bank controller for a domestic savings bank, a bank auditor for a universal bank, and a bank examiner at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

A Certified Public Accountant, Carreon began his professional career at SGV & Co. and is a graduate of San Beda University.

PHC said the move reflects its commitment to streamlining financial oversight and strengthening investor communications as it advances its long-term business and capital markets objectives.
