BAGUIO CITY — Preparations are underway for the Panagbenga Festival 2026 Grand Floral Float Parade, set for Sunday, March 1, as participating groups finalize their entries.

This year’s theme, “Blooming Without End,” guides the floats’ designs, reflecting continuity, growth, and a celebration of nature.

The 2026 celebration marks the 30th edition of the festival, with Panagbenga — which means “a season of blooming” — highlighting the city’s legacy of growth and cultural pride.

The theme emphasizes the continued “blooming” of Baguio and its community through art, culture, and nature.

Months of planning and careful design are coming together as teams continue installing floral arrangements on towering float structures that will move through the streets of Baguio City.

Organizers emphasized both aesthetics and safety, with builders ensuring each float is structurally sound, durable, and compliant with festival regulations.

Participants continue refining floral layouts and reinforcing frames ahead of the parade.

Beyond competition, the floats symbolize culture, unity, and the city’s deep appreciation for nature.

The Grand Floral Float Parade is expected to attract thousands of spectators to witness the vibrant displays of community creativity.

The public is invited to experience the colorful procession on March 1, when Baguio City streets will transform into a living showcase of flowers and culture.
