Outstanding PRO Cordillera officers commended

CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – PRO Cordillera regional director PBGEN David K. Peredo, Jr. led the felicitation of six exemplary officers within the organization for their exceptional contributions to law enforcement, in a distinguished ceremony held at the Multi-Purpose Center in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on Monday, December 11, 2023. 

The prestigious Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) was bestowed upon PCPT Ryan C. Antonio and PSSg Ryan Floyd A. Dagadag from the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (PPO).

Their unwavering commitment and proficient execution of a warrant of arrest against the No. 8 Most Wanted Person (MWP) in the Regional Level during the 3rd quarter of 2023, on July 21, showcased exceptional dedication to duty.

Similarly honored with the Medalya ng Kagalingan were PCPT Arthur O. Opate and Pat Robenzon U. Guinobang from the Baguio City Police Office.

Their successful execution of a warrant of arrest against the No. 3 MWP in the City Level during the 3rd quarter of 2023, on September 13, demonstrated exemplary professionalism and dedication to maintaining law and order.

Furthermore, the commendable efforts of PCPT Dick K. Latogan and PCpl Mary Joy W. Mariano from the Benguet PPO were recognized with the Medalya ng Papuri (PNP Commendation Medal).

Their compassionate and dedicated assistance to a mentally-challenged adolescent, missing since May 18, 2023, and later found loitering in Bayabas, Sablan on August 24, 2023, displayed exceptional humanity in the line of duty.

Through their compassion and efforts, the adolescent was safely reunited with family in Norzagaray, Bulacan.

Acknowledging excellence beyond operational prowess, a certificate of recognition was presented to the Regional Operations Division, specifically to their Chief, PCOL Jeremias O. Oyawon.

Their office was celebrated as the cleanest office of the week from December 4 to 8, 2023, reflecting an unwavering commitment to both operational excellence and an environment conducive to productivity.
