Mang Inasal is once again in the spotlight as its viral #MangInasalCreamyYESSummer campaign bagged top honors at the prestigious 2025 Dragons of Asia Awards.
The brand won the coveted Blue Dragon Award for Best Campaign in the Philippines and the Black Dragon Award in the Social Media category, solidifying its position as a standout innovator in the regional marketing arena.
At the heart of the award-winning campaign was Mang Inasal’s beloved Extra Creamy Halo-Halo, reimagined as the star of a nationwide digital celebration.
Rising talent Fyang Smith took the lead, encouraging communities—especially Gen Z creators—to showcase their creativity by sharing content centered on their love for the iconic dessert.
As posts surged across platforms, the campaign transformed the summertime favorite into a full-blown cultural moment.
“At Mang Inasal, we’re inspired every day to delight our customers by serving their favorites, like our Extra Creamy Halo-Halo, and to connect with them wherever they are online,” said Mang Inasal president Mike V. Castro. “This campaign is a perfect example. This Christmas season, fans can look forward to more engaging digital initiatives that bring joy and make every experience with Mang Inasal truly memorable.”
Since its establishment in 2000, the Dragons of Asia Awards has honored the region’s most creative and impactful marketing campaigns, with notable past winners including Coca-Cola, Samsung, and Unilever.
This year’s recognition adds to Mang Inasal’s growing list of achievements, with 42 awards from local and international organizations in 2025 alone.
With its innovative brand storytelling and strong digital rapport with customers, Mang Inasal continues to cement its reputation as the Philippines’ Grill Expert—and now, a benchmark for excellence in brand engagement across Asia.
