Under the visionary leadership of the esteemed BTC Chair and President Gladys Vergara, “An Enchanting Baguio Christmas” promises a Yuletide season filled with wonder and merriment.
The highlight of this year’s festivities is the creation of a Christmas Market at the picturesque Rose Garden in Burnham Park.
This enchanting village, bedecked with twinkling lights and adorned stalls, aspires to become a festive sanctuary for both locals and visitors alike.
With meticulously decorated pathways, the market is set to immerse attendees in the cozy charm synonymous with Christmas in Baguio.
Vergara, brimming with enthusiasm, assured that the ambiance alone would infuse the air with the joyous spirit of Yuletide.
“Christmas decorated pathways will guide visitors through quaint stalls adorned with twinkling lights, creating a scene of merriment,” she described.
Mayor Benjie Magalong expressed the city’s joy over the lineup of Christmas-themed events orchestrated by the BTC.
He emphasized the significance of Christmas in Baguio, particularly for locals returning from overseas work, eagerly anticipating reunions with their families during the holidays.

The European-themed Christmas market will offer an array of seasonal treats, from freshly baked gingerbread to roasted chestnuts, alongside handcrafted gifts and artisanal delights.
The festive journey begins with a spectacular light show on November 29 at the Burnham Park Rose Garden, followed by the traditional lighting ceremony of the Baguio Christmas tree atop Session Road on December 1.
Throughout December, a series of captivating events will unfold, including the Christmas Metamorphosis at the Botanical Garden, the Nutcracker Ballet by the Philippine Military Academy and Ballet Baguio, the University of Baguio Annual Christmas Cantata, and a special tribute to Filipino heroes by the Baguio Cosplay Community.
