BAGUIO CITY – The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) in a joint operation conducted with several units, including the BCPO Police Station 6, CIU, CIDMU, BCPO Police Station 7, and RID-PRO COR, successfully apprehended Diego Geminiano Junio, a 45-year-old male residing in Barangay Bocboc West, Aguilar, Pangasinan.

The arrest took place at 8:25 PM on July 9, 2023, along Lakandula Street in Baguio City.

Junio was apprehended on the basis of a Warrant of Arrest for Qualified Theft issued by the Hon. Jorge S. Manaois Jr., presiding judge of Regional Trial Court, Branch 10, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The warrant was issued on June 2, 2022, and is docketed under Criminal Case No. 22E-CR-14280.

The recommended bail amount for the accused is set at PhP30,000.00.

Junio is currently under the custody of BCPO Police Station 6 following the arrest, for documentation purposes before being turned over to the appropriate court.

During the arrest operation, an Alternative Recording Device was employed to ensure proper recording of the event.

The case against Junio will now proceed in the legal system, where he will have the opportunity to defend himself against the charges brought against him.
