Farmers’ concerns tackled at Baguio City public consultation

BAGUIO CITY — Local farmers voiced their concerns during a public consultation held on August 28, 2025, at the second floor of the CDRRMO Building here.

The event was convened by the City Veterinary and Agriculture Office (CVAO).

Senator Francisco “Kiko” Pangilinan, Mayor Benjamin Magalong, Hon. Yuri Weygan, Hon. Van Dicang, CVAO Head Dr. Silardo Bested, and Department of Agriculture Cordillera Regional Executive Director Atty. Jennilyn Dawayan attended the consultation.

Officials engaged with farmers on issues affecting the agricultural sector and discussed possible measures to support the local farming community.
