
BAGUIO CITY — Over 7,000 police personnel have been deployed across the Cordillera Administrative Region to ensure public safety during the Christmas and New Year celebrations from December 16, 2025, to January 6, 2026.
According to the Regional Operations Division (ROD), a total of 7,368 Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) personnel are assigned throughout the provinces and cities of the region.
To secure major thoroughfares, 432 officers are stationed for road monitoring, including transport terminals.
Meanwhile, 1,160 personnel are deployed to public markets, parks, malls, and places of worship to maintain peace in high-traffic areas.
Additionally, 346 augmented units and force multipliers have been mobilized to reinforce security and crime prevention efforts, while 5,430 PRO CAR personnel remain at police offices, stations, and fixed visibility points to ensure continuous presence and readiness.
PRO CAR urges the public to stay vigilant and report suspicious activities or emergencies through local police stations or official hotlines to maintain a safe and orderly holiday season.
