Baguio City launches second Sang-atan Bike Festival

BAGUIO CITY – The second Sang-atan Bike Festival was officially launched during the Monday Flag Raising ceremony on June 3, 2024 at the Baguio City Hall grounds.

The event, which marks the beginning of a month-long celebration of cycling, saw the participation of key city officials and local cycling enthusiasts.

Mayor Benjamin Magalong, accompanied by Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan and several city council members, unveiled the calendar of activities for the festival.

The officials were joined by a vibrant community of Baguio cyclists, all eager to participate in the series of events planned for June.

Following the unveiling ceremony, participants embarked on a short bike ride through the Central Business District, showcasing the spirit of unity and enthusiasm that the festival aims to promote.
