
BAGUIO CITY — Families, friends, local and national line agencies, and various organizations gathered at SM City Baguio on April 23, 2025, for the annual Angels Walk for Autism, spearheaded by the Autism Society Philippines Baguio-Benguet Chapter.
In partnership with SM Cares, led by Mr. Philip Sin Baysac, Mall Manager of SM City Baguio, and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), headed by Dr. Samuel Aquino, this year’s walk once again emphasized the importance of awareness, inclusion, and support for individuals with autism.
Dr. Aquino also served as the event’s guest of honor and keynote speaker.
Held at the Atrium of SM City Baguio, the 2025 Angels Walk showcased a vibrant celebration of talents and creativity from participants, highlighting the message that when individuals with autism are truly seen, heard, and included, they thrive and inspire those around them.
Various performances during the event reinforced the advocacy for a more inclusive society.
The energy and enthusiasm from all attendees symbolized the growing momentum behind building a compassionate and inclusive community.
