BAGUIO CITY – Baguio Tourism Council chairperson Gladys Vergara, daughter of former Congressman Bernie Vergara, officially filed her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) on Monday, October 7, 2024, for Baguio City’s lone congressional seat.
Vergara has deep roots in Baguio’s civic and political landscape, having served in various leadership roles over the years.
Vergara was accompanied by Glenn Gaerlan, an accomplished musician and educator, who also filed his COC for City Councilor on the same day.
Gaerlan is known for his contributions to Baguio’s arts and education sectors.
