UnionBank launches first online home developer fair
MANILA — UnionBank of the Philippines has launched its first Online Developer Fair, allowing prospective homebuyers to browse residential properties from more than 40 partner developers and apply for financing online as the bank expands its digital mortgage offerings.
The online event, running from July 6 to July 31, features residential condominiums, house-and-lot packages, townhouses and residential lots from participating developers through a dedicated online platform, according to a statement issued by UnionBank.
Customers whose home loan applications are approved during the promotional period will receive a P20,000 waiver on bank fees, while participating developers are offering discounts of up to 12% on selected properties, the bank said.
The initiative brings together developers including Aboitiz Land Inc., Empire East Land Holdings Inc., Suntrust Properties Inc., Cebu Landmasters Inc., Filinvest Land Inc., Filinvest Alabang Inc., Greenfield Development Corp., Shang Wack Wack Properties Inc., Asian Land Strategies Corp., Alsons Development and Investment Corp., Property Company of Friends Inc., Pacifica Homes Development Corp., Moldex Realty Inc. and Phinma Property Holdings Corp., among others.
“Our first Online Developer’s Fair makes it easier for customers to connect with trusted developers and access the right financing options,” Mukul Sukhani, UnionBank’s Cards and Loans Head, said in the statement.
UnionBank said the online platform is designed to simplify the home-buying process by allowing customers to explore available properties and financing options without visiting multiple sales offices.
The initiative forms part of its broader push to expand digital banking services and improve customer access to home financing, the bank said.
“We see ourselves as partners in our customers’ journey—bringing together digital innovation, trusted developer networks, and tailored financing to help them take the next step,” Portfolio Lending Head Konstantin Beloglazov said in the statement.
The bank said interested buyers can browse participating projects and submit home loan applications through the Online Developer Fair website until July 31.
