MANILA — Kawasaki Motors Philippines unveiled its 2026 leisure bike lineup during an immersive brand event titled “The Art of Power” on Feb. 25 at Whitespace Manila in Makati City, presenting a range of motorcycles aimed at sport, adventure and middleweight riders.

The curated showcase highlighted the company’s latest models through cinematic storytelling, choreographed lighting and live performances, emphasizing the brand’s evolving design and engineering philosophy.

Leading the launch was the flagship superbike, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX‑10R, developed with feedback from the Kawasaki Racing Team competing in the Superbike World Championship.

The 2026 ZX-10R introduces aerodynamic upgrades including large integrated winglets that Kawasaki said produce 25% more downforce.

The model also features a repositioned Ram Air intake system, Brembo braking components, Showa Balance Free suspension, an Öhlins steering damper and a TFT instrument panel with smartphone connectivity.

Kawasaki also introduced the adventure-oriented Kawasaki KLE500 and its touring-focused variant, the Kawasaki KLE500 SE, marking their Philippine debut after the platform was first revealed globally at the EICMA 2025.

Powered by a 451cc fuel-injected parallel twin engine, the KLE500 features an assist and slipper clutch, selectable ABS, KYB suspension and spoke wheels mounted on a high-tensile steel trellis frame.

A 16-liter fuel tank and smartphone connectivity through the Rideology app are designed to support long-distance adventure riding.

The SE version adds touring upgrades such as hand guards, a larger windshield, three-case luggage capability, a full-color TFT display and additional Ergo-Fit adjustments for rider comfort.

In the naked bike category, Kawasaki introduced the Kawasaki Z1100, the latest evolution of the Z-series lineage that previously included the Kawasaki Z1000.

The new model incorporates a larger-displacement engine, an electronic throttle valve system, rider-assist technologies and premium components including Brembo front brakes and Öhlins suspension, aligned with Kawasaki’s Sugomi design philosophy.

Rounding out the lineup are updates to the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Kawasaki Z650RS, both middleweight models that remain among the brand’s most accessible big-bike offerings.

The Ninja 650 receives refreshed colors and graphics for 2026, while the Z650RS gains styling updates influenced by larger Z-series motorcycles.

The event gathered dealer partners, company executives and members of the media from across the country.

Kawasaki said the 2026 leisure bike models are now available through its nationwide network of Kawasaki Krib dealerships.
